The first intelligent monitoring rail trunk line
is put into use, realizing full life cycle digital management
A report says that on the morning of September 15, China's
first railway track trunk line with full-process intelligent monitoring functions was
officially put into operation in East China. At the ceremony site, a Fuxing bullet train
smoothly passed over the new type of railway track, with the track surface reflecting
the
clear blue sky, and the micro monitoring modules embedded in the track waist, like
"nerve
endings", capturing operating data in real time. The line has a total length of 286
kilometers, and each meter of the track is equipped with 3 high-precision sensing
modules,
which can simultaneously collect 12 key indicators such as vibration, temperature,
stress,
and displacement, and transmit them to the cloud management platform in milliseconds
through
5G + edge computing technology.
Compared with traditional steel rails, the new-type rails
are
made of high-manganese vanadium-titanium alloy, forged at a high temperature of 1200℃
and
precision-rolled, with their wear resistance improved by more than twice. The supporting
AI
crack early warning system is equipped with a deep learning algorithm, which can
accurately
identify tiny damages at the 0.1-millimeter level, automatically generate maintenance
work
orders and dispatch them to the nearest work sites. According to the person in charge of
the
railway department, after the smart rails are put into use, the frequency of manual
inspections has been reduced by 70%, the inspection efficiency has been increased by
80%,
and the maintenance cost has been reduced by 30%, which will build a solid technological
barrier for the high-density and high-speed operation of high-speed railways.
