However, our non-contact rail head profile rangefinder adopts advanced laser scanning technology, which can truly restore the microscopic morphology of the rail surface, accurately distinguish the characteristics of the switch rail, and simultaneously collect light band distribution information, completely solving the limitations of contact-type measurement.

The time to measure the speed at a single point on the track has been reduced from several minutes to a few seconds. The operation can be completed remotely on a tablet: First, place and fix the device on the track; second, click "Detect" on the tablet to extract the complete profile. The measurement process is fast and simple, using the principle of optical non-contact profile measurement without additional manual intervention. All detection processes are automatically controlled by the computer, and profile extraction can usually be completed within 1 second.
